These days good design is not something that has to stand in the corner like a museum exhibit and be admired. Good design ought to be used. It ought to be part of everyday life so we can enjoy that little extra something brought to a common Tuesday when our old plastic bowl is replaced with a beautifully designed glass bowl.

Modern glass design in a quality that stands being used is precisely what we create at Holmegaard. We work with some of Denmark's best glass designers, who experiment with technique, form and material in our development workshop.
We also invite up-and-coming young artists and designers who also work in other fields to work as glass designers.

All in all this results in unique design that reaches into the future. Design that is not just beautiful to look at, but has been made to be used in modern everyday life, where surrounding oneself with exquisite design brings extra enjoyment that makes every day something special.
